Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of SCC Santa Clara Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Services

SCC Santa Clara Concrete provides professional concrete installation, repair, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Project estimates are based on information provided by the customer and site conditions as observed during the initial consultation. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from what was initially assessed or if the scope of work changes.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are estimates and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotes are based on current material costs and labor rates, which are subject to change. Once a quote is accepted and a contract is signed, the price is locked in for the agreed-upon scope of work.

Additional charges may apply if you request changes to the project scope, if unexpected site conditions are discovered, or if access or site preparation issues arise that were not apparent during the initial assessment.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is due immediately upon completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges and collection fees. If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to place a lien on the property in accordance with California state law.

Scheduling and Delays

We will make every effort to complete your project on the scheduled date. However, concrete work is weather-dependent, and delays may occur due to rain, extreme temperatures, or other conditions beyond our control. We will communicate any scheduling changes as soon as possible.

The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and for removing any obstacles, vehicles, or personal property that may interfere with our work. Delays caused by lack of access or site preparation issues may result in rescheduling and additional charges.

Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. All workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, or damage from external factors such as tree roots, ground settling, or extreme weather events.

Concrete naturally develops minor surface cracks due to shrinkage and temperature changes. Small hairline cracks are considered normal and are not covered under warranty. Structural cracks or significant defects resulting from our workmanship will be repaired at no cost to you.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and ensuring that all property lines and underground utilities are clearly marked before work begins. We can assist with permit applications, but the ultimate responsibility lies with the property owner.

You must keep children and pets away from the work area for safety reasons. Freshly poured concrete must cure for at least 7 days before being subjected to vehicle traffic or heavy loads. Failure to follow curing instructions may void the warranty.

Limitation of Liability

SCC Santa Clara Concrete will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services rendered. We carry comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage for your protection.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work together to find a resolution. If we cannot reach an agreement, any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Santa Clara County, California, in accordance with California state law.
