Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website at www.concretesantaclara.com (the "Site"), or by requesting services from SCC Santa Clara Concrete ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or request our services.
SCC Santa Clara Concrete provides concrete contracting services in and around Santa Clara, CA, including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, retaining walls, decorative concrete, and related concrete services. Services are provided to residential and commercial customers within our service area.
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion. Acceptance of a project is confirmed only when a written contract or agreement is signed by both parties.
All estimates provided by SCC Santa Clara Concrete are based on an on-site inspection of the project location. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
An estimate is not a contract. Work begins only after a written contract is signed and any required deposit is received. If site conditions differ materially from what was represented at the time of the estimate, we may revise the price before work begins and notify you in writing.
We do not charge for on-site estimates. Estimates are provided at no obligation to you.
Scheduling is confirmed in writing or by verbal agreement at the time of contract signing. We make every effort to complete projects within the agreed timeframe, but unforeseen conditions - including weather, permitting delays, material availability, or site access issues - may affect the schedule. We will notify you promptly of any changes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellation after materials have been ordered or permits have been pulled may result in a charge to cover those costs. Any deposit paid is non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun, unless otherwise specified in the written contract.
Payment terms are outlined in the written contract for each project. Typical terms require a deposit at contract signing and the balance due upon completion. We do not require full payment before work begins.
Accepted payment methods are listed in your contract. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at the maximum rate permitted by California law. Unpaid balances may be referred to collections or result in a mechanic lien being filed on the property in accordance with California law.
Where required by local law or building code, SCC Santa Clara Concrete will apply for and obtain the necessary building permits before beginning work. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate or noted as a separate line item.
The customer is responsible for disclosing any known property restrictions, HOA requirements, easements, or underground utilities prior to work beginning. We are not liable for delays or additional costs arising from undisclosed restrictions.
SCC Santa Clara Concrete warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable building codes. Specific warranty terms, including duration and coverage, are outlined in the written contract for each project.
Our warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and maintenance. It does not cover damage caused by improper use, acts of nature, settlement due to soil conditions not disclosed at the time of the estimate, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Concrete is a natural material. Minor hairline cracking due to curing and thermal expansion is normal and does not constitute a defect. Structural cracking or significant displacement is covered under the workmanship warranty where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCC Santa Clara Concrete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or from your use of this Site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of a service project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific project.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, material shortages, labor disputes, government actions, or natural disasters.
